It’s in the Details

The Hunt0 comments

Everyone has them, whether it’s your favorite book that sits on your nightstand, a magnet collection that’s reunited on your fridge, a picture of your beloved school, or green accents that brighten the room.  Regardless of their monetary worth, they are priceless to us, the renters, the drifters, the home is where you make it-ers.

They make us feel happy, bring fullness and warmth to an empty room, they transform the chore of unpacking into a true holiday.  “They” are the details.  Transitioning a rental into a home can be a challenge.  It’s a daunting balancing act between what you want your home to be, and the worth of those wants when it’s someone else’s property your investing in.  That’s why it’s all in the details!

The details can be packed, unpacked, moved but significant enough to fill walls, counters, and the biggest of spaces with the greatest feelings of home.  So when I stumbled upon Eclectic Yellow House’s marbled polymer ring dishes, well, it seemed like a little detail that shouldn’t be left out!

These gems give you the opportunity to pick your favorite inspirational colors and in an hour you have a customized, one of a kind, and completely functional “detail” that could work in any rental.  Make it your first simple DIY project in your new home, or make one with wonderful friends to bring a piece of them into your new home.  These dishes are perfect to store your jewelry while you’re working hard moving-in, or better yet, they would make an amazing dish for those new keys of yours!
